What a dream wedding weekend! Highlands NC is one of our favorite destination wedding locations and Fall is the perfect season to plan a mountain wedding. After a sweet ceremony at the historic and charming Highlands Presbyterian Chapel, our sweet bride and groom celebrated at the gorgeous Highlands Country Club. Guests were greeted with Highlands bagpipe music and found their seats with champagne flutes in hand. Traditional mountain style florals draped the venues stone mantels and tables. Our floral designs honored the brides classic white and green color palette and consisted of locally foraged mountain laurel, bleached oak leaves, oak leaf hydrangea, garden roses , giant hybrid delphinium and her favorite magnolia leaves..
We jumped at the invitation to collaborate with amazing Alabama and local wedding pros to promote a newly opened wedding venue in Halifax Nova Scotia. The seaside stone and timber venue inspired the color palette of soft gray and tan. Our blush accents were found in the native wild cherry blossoms and the Canadian sunset . We were thrilled to work with a local flower farm whose heirloom blooms were the perfect touch for the venue's French Chateau architecture style. From the cherry blossom orchard ceremony to the gorgeous table setting and seaside backdrop, this wedding editorial was romantic perfection.
